About us...

When two totally unhinged 15 year olds met for the first time on a high school tennis court in the 80s, who knew it would turn into this? 

Hey! We're Heidi and Lauren! Our shared weirdness made us fast friends and we've been wreaking havoc and making each other laugh ever since! Somehow, our friendship has survived four decades, five kids, countless questionable decisions, and living hundreds of miles apart.

While on vacation together a few years ago, we decided to use our ridiculous history to create something that would bring a little levity to a world that often seems heavy. We fully believe that if you're not laughing, you're not living!

Back home, our out-of-control Zoom calls had us crying with laughter as we paired old family photos with the most absurd captions we could dream up! The very first card we created was a photo of Lauren's mom next to a quote that reads "Jane was always in awe of how consistent Dick was at living up to his name." (Thankfully, our families happen to share our outrageous sense of humor!)

And just like that, Very Funny Vintage was born! 

Welcome to our collective midlife crisis! We now offer vintage-inspired GIFTS and GREETING CARDS for people who appreciate nostalgia with a healthy dose of sarcasm.
